Since my blog is titled "Things in my mind" I wanted my redisgn to have a feeling of leading the reader in like they were being led into my mind with a picture of a subway staircase. I didn't want the colors to be to overpowering so I tried to stay with a color scheme that matched my photo. There were a couple of things that I'm not satisfied with in my design though. One is I wanted to have padding around the text.
